• enviornmental record: in order to increase sales to eviornmental conscious costumers volkswagen promotes developing clean diesel , and other fuel-efficient technologies.volksawgen are launching a new car in 2009, the clean-diesel Jetta TDI, which has a 16-valve, four-cylinder common rail injection engine which reduces emissions by 90%. volksawagen's boss has talked about his plans to release new hybrid vehicles in 2009.


• volkswagen's relationship with porsche:volksawgen has always had a connection with porsche the zuffenhausen- based sports car manufacturer was founded by ferdinand porsche who was also the original designer of volkswagen. the first porsche sports car used many of the items used in the volkswagen beetle like the engine just more finely tuned and the gearbox and suspension.


• volksawgen was founded in 1938


• the main founder was ferdinad porsche


• headquarters was wolfsburg, germany
